Four blocks of Julia Street will be closed to traffic for a three-hour New Orleans-style block party. Art galleries nearby will open their doors and music stages will be set up. Dirty Linen Night promotes the art galleries and antique shops on Royal Street. Dirty martinis and dirty rice are given away by many of the merchants. Attendees are encouraged to wear the white linens they may have soiled during the White Linen Night held a week before on Julia Street in the Warehouse District.
