romance packages in new orleans Since Valentine’s Day falls in the middle of the week and on Ash Wednesday, a Catholic day of fasting, New Orleans is celebrating the romance of this special day a few days after February 14th. At Grand Victorian Bed & Breakfast, we feel that love can be expressed in many different ways, therefore, we incorporated several passions into our “Retreat to Romance” package.

Passion for Antiques

Then hop on the St. Charles Avenue streetcar with passes included in our package to explore the French Quarter. This year, New Orleans celebrates its Tricentennial Anniversary – 300 years of history. Many events are planned as the city opens its doors to the world to share its rich history and culture.

Passion for Food

There are also many other places to dine for fabulous NOLA cuisine just a short distance from the house.
